Motocaddy launches pioneering trade ordering platform

20 February 2023

New online portal allows stockists to check stock & place orders 24/7

Motocaddy, the UK’s top-selling trolley brand, has launched a brand new B2B platform to allow its retail customers to place orders and manage their account more efficiently.

The first of its kind within the trolley category, the new online portal is available initially to UK trade customers, with a rollout to other countries planned for the coming months. To maximise the full value of the user-friendly platform, Motocaddy stockists can register their account at: trade.motocaddy.com.

“We are thrilled to be the first trolley brand to offer our customers an online account management system,” said Motocaddy Sales Director, Steve Morris. “We know that golf retailers are busier than ever, so our goal is to make the ordering process as seamless as possible, even when our offices are closed. This will definitely help our retail partners save time and improve the overall service we offer. The new platform will make working with Motocaddy easier than ever before for many hundreds of stockists throughout the UK,” he added.

The new Motocaddy trade portal boasts a wide range of features, including in-depth product information, live stock availability, a 24/7 ordering process and a quick product search function. It also includes a customer account dashboard allowing users to view their order history, current balance, past payments and check the status of orders. Customers using the platform will have access to view the full range of Motocaddy products – including golf bags, batteries and accessories – making purchasing a quick and easy process, with browsing optimised for mobile and desktop devices.

Over a recent trial period, more than 25% of orders for Motocaddy products were placed outside of office hours, making the case for the timely introduction of the B2B platform.

“With a number of exciting new products launching in the coming weeks, this new platform will allow our customers to spend less time on the phone and more time selling,” added Morris. “We also have a full team of Motocaddy Territory Sales Managers on the road supporting our trade accounts, as well as an experienced team of Customer Service representatives in our call centre. The addition of a B2B portal reaffirms our commitment to offering the best possible customer service in the sector.”
