-New SE model features customary styling, performance & reliability at attractive price point-
Motocaddy, the world’s leading golf trolley brand, has introduced a revolutionary new entry-level powered model at the most attractive price point on the market to encourage more golfers to ‘GO ELECTRIC’ this season.
Based on the S-Shaped frame and platform made popular by the legacy 12V S-Series range – which has seen over 300,000 worldwide sales – the all-new Motocaddy SE electric trolley offers the brand’s customary styling, performance, and reliability at a really affordable price to make it accessible to as many golfers as possible. Incredibly easy-to-use, the new model features nine-speed settings, a USB port for on-the-go charging of mobile phones or GPS devices, plus an LED power indicator and battery meter on the trolley handle.
“The SE is a perfect entry-level option for the golfer who wants to step up from the burden of carrying a bag, perhaps struggling with a push cart over hilly terrain or simply wanting to purchase an electric trolley for the very first time,” said Motocaddy Marketing Director, Oliver Churcher.
“Despite being available for under £500, which is significantly less than our nearest competitor’s products, the SE still provides golfers with the same high build quality and reliability as other Motocaddy models across our range. Golfers walk upwards of 13,000 steps and six miles during an average round of golf.
Independent research* indicates that 85% of golfers surveyed feel that an electric trolley helps them play better, with almost two thirds stating that it makes the game more enjoyable, so we wanted to offer more golfers the opportunity to feel the benefit of an electric trolley,” he added.
Additional features on the new SE model include quick release wheels with new tyre tread; a whisper-quiet 200W motor; folding lock; adjustable bag supports; and Motocaddy’s award-winning QUIKFOLD mechanism that allows golfer to fold or unfold the trolley in seconds. It also incorporates the brand’s exclusive EASILOCK® system, designed to lock a Motocaddy bag onto the trolley and remove the need for a lower bag strap.
Available in ULTRA Lithium and Lead-acid battery options with on-board charging possible if preferred, the Motocaddy SE comes in a Graphite frame at the following RRP’s £479.99 (Lead-acid) and £549.99 (ULTRA Lithium).
The new SE joins the award-winning S1 and compact-folding M1 models as part of Motocaddy’s most complete entry-level line-up ever. Simple and incredibly easy-to-use, the S1 features the brand’s 1-step folding system, alongside the state-of-the-art CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT® battery technology, which not only provides cable-free connectivity, but also automatically disconnects the battery when folded and offers a quick-access port to allow onboard charging without removal.
Bolstered by next generation high power 28V electronics, the S1 combines modern design with a powerful, whisper-quiet 230W motor, a super-lightweight Lithium battery and upgraded visuals including a full-colour LCD widescreen display.
Recently launched, the new 2024 M1 is the world’s easiest-to-use compact trolley thanks to its simple folding, impressive LCD widescreen display, and nine-speed settings. Designed to quickly fold to fit into the smallest spaces, the latest model also includes a new CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT® cable-free battery with auto-disconnect and pop-up charging port, automotive-inspired styling, new style ergonomic handle grips, and redesigned sporty tyres.
Both S1 and M1 models have additional DHC options featuring Automatic Downhill Control that adjusts to maintain a constant speed while moving down a gradient for a smoother ride, plus all terrain DHC wheels and an electronic parking brake which works on both up and downhill undulations.
