Motocaddy, the UK’s top-selling electric trolley and cart bag brand, has updated its premium Dry and Pro-Series bags with a stylish modern update, including a brand new colour range and standout features.

A total of 15 bags are on offer across the full range that also includes the popular Lite and Club-Series bags introduced last season, enabling golfers to easily match a bag to the Motocaddy trolley of their choice.

Super-lightweight (2.4kg) and 100% waterproof, the new Dry-Series bag is manufactured from a durable Rip-Stop 420D Nylon fabric together with heat-welded seams and thermo-sealed zips that have been put through rigorous testing to ensure that the contents of the bag remain dry. (more…)

In another pioneering move in the powered trolley market, top-selling brand Motocaddy has introduced a full 5-year warranty* on any new Motocaddy Lithium battery purchases.

From 1st January 2017, all Motocaddy Lithium batteries sold – including those purchased with a Motocaddy electric trolley – will be eligible for the new warranty which replaces the previous ‘limited’ cover and adds three additional years to the existing all-inclusive, two-year period.

The initiative comes a year after Motocaddy became the first trolley brand to close the price gap between models sold with Lithium and Lead-acid batteries to just £100 – a drop of £50 on previous price points. The move has seen demand for Motocaddy electric trolleys sold with a Lithium battery reach a record high, accounting for more than 90% of overall Motocaddy trolley sales last season – compared with 63% in 2015 and 24% in 2014. It was a hat-trick of wins for the world’s favourite powered golf trolley when the latest version of the Motocaddy S1introduced in Marchwas voted ‘Trolley of the Year’ at the 2016 Foremost Golf Industry Awards last week.

Previous versions of the evergreen entry-level S1 model had won the same title in 2014 and 2015.

This year’s award from more than 950 Foremost Golf members follows record sales figures for the S1 this year – accounting for more than a third (38%) of all electric trolleys sold in the UK between March and October*. More than 90% of these sales have been with a Lithium battery. (more…)

Top-selling trolley brand Motocaddy has announced record levels of profitability for its retail partners during the first half of the year with a substantial 3% gross margin increase. This welcome financial gain for stockists of Motocaddy lines follows unprecedented demand for the new S-Series range and royalty rates remaining consistent throughout the period.

The popular brand also increased its market share, with Motocaddy trolleys accounting for 63% of all powered trolley units sold in the UK up to the end of July* – almost double the number sold by its closest rival. Sales of the latest S1 model also reached record levels, representing more than 35% of all electric trolley purchases for the same period, nearly twice as many as the next best-selling model in the domestic market.

Demand for electric trolleys sold with Lithium batteries has also reached a record high following the brand’s pioneering advertising campaigns and promotions. They accounted for more than 90% of Motocaddy trolley sales this year – compared with 34% in 2014 and 63% last year.  (more…)
