Motocaddy, the UK’s top-selling trolley brand, has given its popular S7 REMOTE electric trolley a stylish upgrade for the 2017 season, while retaining one of the most sophisticated guidance systems on the powered trolley market.

The latest S7 REMOTE incorporates a number of new improvements from the original hands free model introduced in 2015. These include a more compact fully rechargeable remote control Lithium handset that fits neatly into an integrated holder located on the underside of a new soft-touch ergonomic handle. The handset can also be topped up during play thanks to the patented USB port that can also charge GPS and mobile devices.

Along with technological advances, the latest new-look model features a streamlined battery tray to accommodate the sleek Lithium battery used to power it, along with distinctive branding on the signature S-Series frame in a smart new Graphite colourway. (more…)

Just a few months after the successful introduction of its first Downhill Control trolley – the S1 DHCMotocaddy, the UK’s top-selling trolley brand, is adding a second model, this time to its popular compact-folding M-Series range.

The new M1 PRO DHC incorporates the same standout features as the M1 PRO, including the three-point folding system that has been developed to enable the trolley to fold over 40% smaller than standard models. But it can also maintain a constant speed while moving down a gradient – thanks to a special single motor that offers downhill braking, coupled with an electronic parking brake.

The trolley’s power output is adjusted automatically to control the rate of descent without the golfer having to make any changes to the pre-hill speed setting, while the simple to use electronic parking brake will hold its position on the steepest of slopes thanks to an innovative solenoid braking system. Motocaddy, the UK’s top-selling trolley brand, has unveiled its most technologically advanced electric trolley ever along with a free GPS app that connects to the trolley to provide distance data plus mobile alerts.

Following extensive product development, the S5 CONNECT trolley can be synced to the app via a Bluetooth connection on any compatible smartphone; allowing the trolley’s digital display to be used in place of a conventional GPS, offering golfers front, middle and back distances to the green (in yards or metres), along with the par of the hole, clock and round timer. The digital control button works in the same way as other Motocaddy models, regulating the nine speed settings and stopping and starting as required around the course.

But, in another ground-breaking move, the new S5 CONNECT can also receive notifications alerting the golfer of an incoming call, text, email or range of app alerts including WhatsApp and Facebook. The phone can remain connected even when securely placed in the pocket of a golf bag or being charged by the trolley’s patented USB charging port. (more…)

In another pioneering move in the powered trolley market, top-selling brand Motocaddy has introduced a full 5-year warranty* on any new Motocaddy Lithium battery purchases.

From 1st January 2017, all Motocaddy Lithium batteries sold – including those purchased with a Motocaddy electric trolley – will be eligible for the new warranty which replaces the previous ‘limited’ cover and adds three additional years to the existing all-inclusive, two-year period.

The initiative comes a year after Motocaddy became the first trolley brand to close the price gap between models sold with Lithium and Lead-acid batteries to just £100 – a drop of £50 on previous price points. The move has seen demand for Motocaddy electric trolleys sold with a Lithium battery reach a record high, accounting for more than 90% of overall Motocaddy trolley sales last season – compared with 63% in 2015 and 24% in 2014.
